Chutpati Tandoori Fish

Ingredients:

  • Pomfret fish                        2
  • Garlic                                     3
  • Onion                                    ½
  • Talhar chili                          2-3
  • Lemon                                   2
  • Ginger                                   1tbsp
  • Dry coriander                     1tsp
  • Cumin                                   1tsp
  • Carom seed                         1/2tsp
  • Black pepper                      1tsp
  • Red chili (powder)            1tbsp
  • Turmeric                              1/2tsp
  • Fenugreek (leaf)                1tbsp
  • Chat spices                          2tbsp
  • Oil                                          3-4tbsp
  • Salt                                         to taste

Method:

  1. In a pan roast dry coriander, cumin, carom seed and black pepper.
  2. Now in a pan heat and oil and fry onion, garlic, ginger and talhar pepper.
  3. Then in water mix and cook roasted spices, red chili, turmeric, lemon juice and salt.
  4. Blend all of these in a blender.
  5. Now add fenugreek leaf and chat masala and mix it in the mixture and marinate the fish with it.
  6. Now set on a baking tray and spread oil over it and bake it in the oven.
  7. Now dish it out and serve.
