Daal Makhani Handi

Ingredients:

  • Yellow lentil soaked 250 gm
  •  Water 1 cup
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Blended tomatoes 2
  • Tomato paste 1 tbsp
  • Cream 2 tbsp
  • Butter 2 ounce
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Coriander  powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 2 chopped

Method:

  1. Heat oil add ginger garlic paste, fry well, add blended tomatoes, with tomato paste and boil moong ki daal
  2. Add cream, cook for 5 mins and remove. In another sauce pan.
  3. Heat butter, add chili powder, cumin, coriander, salt, mix and add to the daal.
  4. Now put this daal back to cook mixing well, remove in a handi
  5. Now garnish with chopped coriander, green chilies and 1 tbsp butter.
