Eid ul Adha, Side Dishes, Zubaida Tariq

Dahi Gosht by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Lemons 4
  • Whole red chilies (finely chopped) 8-10
  • Cumin (roasted & ground) 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Ginger (finely chopped) 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

 

Method:

  1. In a wok add oil, meat, ginger garlic and salt.
  2. Cook well till water dries off
  3. Add hot water and fry well till meat gets tender
  4. Add seasonings with yogurt and cook for 5 min then leave it to simmer
  5. When water in the wok dries off , add lemon , cumin and ginger.
  6. Dahi Gosht by Zubaida Tariq is ready to serve with chappati.
