Dahi Mach
Ingredients:
Fish 1 kg
Onion 1
Yogurt 250 gms
Turmeric 1 piece
Garlic 6 cloves
Ginger 1 piece
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Lemon Juice 4 tbsp
Curry Leaves 6
Green Chilies 4
Green Coriander as required
Oil ½ cup
Red Chilies 10
Method:
Put 4 tbsp lemon juice on fish and keep it for some time.
In some hot water, add in a piece of turmeric, 10 whole red chilies and cumin. Soak it for 2-3 hours.
Grind together, a piece of ginger, garlic cloves, whole red chilies, turmeric, cumin and onion.
Heat ½ cup oil and add in curry leaves, then add in grinded mixture and cook it.
Then add in 1 tsp salt and cook. Then add in 1 kg fish.
When fish simmer, add in 250 gm of yogurt and cook it for 5 minutes.
Add in green coriander and green chilies. Serve with rice.
