Dalcha

Ingredients:

Mutton 500 grams

Split Bengal Gram Boiled ½ cup

Brinjal Slices 2

Boiled Potatoes  Slices 2

Gourd Slice 1

Finely Chopped Tomatoes 2-3

Finely Chopped Onion 1

Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp

Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp

Turmeric Powder 1 tsp

All Spice Powder 1 tsp

Cumin Powder 1 tsp

Mustard Seeds 1 tsp

Curry Leaves 2-3

Whole Red Chili 3-4

Tamarind Paste  1 cup

Oil ½ cup

Salt to taste

 

Method:

Take a cooking pan add ½ cup of oil now add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste,1 onion , 500 gramsa of mutton stir fry the mutton add as required water to the tender meat. Now mutton meat is tender add as required salt, 1 tbsp of red chili powder , 1 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of all  spice powder, 1 tsp of turmeric powder and as required salt mix it well . Now add ½ cup of split Bengal gram , 2 slices of brinjals, 1 gourd ,2  boiled potatoes, cook all the vegetables when the vegetables are tender now add 1 cup of tamarind paste, and mix it well now add 2-3 curry leaves, 3-4 4 whole red chilies , 1 tsp of mustard seeds prepare for baghar. Dish out dalcha add baghar on it and serve it.
