Fried Finger Fish

Ingredients:

  • finger fish                             750g
  • White vinegar                    1/2cup
  • Ginger garlic paste            1tbsp
  • Salt                                         1/4tsp
  • Gram flour                           1cup
  • Rice (flour)                           1tbsp
  • Mustard oil                         2tbsp
  • Carom seed                         1-1/2tsp
  • Green chili (powder)        2tbsp
  • Red chili (powder)            1tsp
  • Turmeric                              3/4tsp
  • Oil                                          for frying
  • Soda                                      2 pinch
  • Spices ingredients:
  • Tartric powder                   1tbsp
  • Coriander dried                 1tbsp
  • Aniseed (powder)             1/2tsp
  • Cumin (roasted)                1tsp
  • Salt                                         1/2tsp
  • Black pepper (powder)   1/2tsp

Method:

  1. Dip the finger fish in white vinegar for 30mins.
  2. Now add salt, red chili powder, turmeric, gram flour, rice flour
  3. Add soda and mustard oil and set it for 30mins more.
  4. Now fry the fish and sprinkle spices and serve it hot.
  5. For spices add tartric powder, dried coriander, aniseed
  6. Add roasted cumin and black pepper to crush these ingredients and sprinkle over the fish and serve.
