Gajar Qalaqand

Ingredients:

 

  • Carrot grated          ½ kg
  • Sugar                         1cup
  • Khoya                                    ½ kg
  • Screw pine essence 1tsp
  • Cardamom grounded ½ tsp
  • Silver paper for garnishing
  • Almonds       as required
  • Pistachio as required

 

Method:

  1. In a pan add carrots and cook on low flame till water dries
  2. Now add sugar and cook on high flame then turn off the flame
  3. Now add cardamom , khoya and screw pine water
  4. Now place this mixture in grease tray and add qalaqand
  5. Than garnish with almonds , pistachios , and silver paper .
