Green Mutton Handi

Ingredients:

  • Mutton                                                ½ kg
  • Yogurt                                                   1 cup
  • Oil                                                           1 cup
  • Chopped Coriander                        2 bunch
  • Chopped Onions                              3
  • Lemons                                                                3
  • Garlic Cloves (with husk)              6
  • Green Chilies                                     10
  • Crushed Black Pepper                    1 tsp
  • Butter                                                   1 tbsp
  • Ginger, Garlic Paste                        1 tbsp
  • Roasted White Cumin Powder   ½ tbsp
  • Salt                                                         to taste

Method:

  1. Make a paste, with 2 bunches green coriander, garlic cloves and green chilies.
  2. In a pa, add in 1 cup yogurt, ½ kg mutton, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and some salt. Boil it.
  3. When the water dries. remove it from the stove.
  4. Take some  oil, in the pan, heat it and add in chopped onion.
  5. Fry till it is golden brown.
  6. Take half of it. In the remaining half, add in grinded paste and fry it.
  7. Add in lemon juice, ½ tbsp roasted cumin, 1 tsp crushed black pepper and 1 tbsp butter.
  8. Simmer it for 10 minutes and serve hot with nan.
