Gulab Jamun by Gulzar Hussain

Ingredients:

  • Dried Milk 2 cup
  • Plain flour 2 tbsp
  • Baking Powder 1 tsp
  • Egg 2 pc
  • Clarified Butter 2-3 tbsp
  • Pistachio for garnish

 

Sugar Syrup:

  • Sugar ½ kg
  • Kewra Essence few drops

 

Method:

 

For Sugar Syrup:

  1. In a pan add sugar & water and cook it till it gets thick.
  2. Now add few drops of kewra essence and mix it. Syrup is ready.

 

For Gulaab Jamun:

  1. In a mixing bowl add dried milk, plain flour, baking powder, clarified butter & beaten eggs.
  2. Knead it & make balls.
  3. In a pan, heat oil & add balls.
  4. Now add them in sugar syrup & leave it.
  5. Serve it in serving dish and garnish it with pistachios.
