Gurh walay Chawal

Ingredients:

  • Rice                      ½ kg
  • Jiggery                 375gm
  • Coconut ground 1packet
  • Raisin                   100gm
  • Coconut               2tbsp
  • Clarified butter   1cup
  • Fennel                 as required
  • Cardamom          few

Method:

  1. Cook fennel and jiggery and water together.
  2. Now heat ghee and fry dry fruits and cardamom.
  3. Now sieve the jiggery water and add in dry fruits and cardamom.
  4. When it boils add rice cover and cook for 40 min.
  5. Lastly dish out and sprinkle some ground coconut and serve .
