Hokkien Noodles

Masala TV recipe of Hokkien Noodles by Chef Zakir from Dawat. This mouth-watering “Latest” recipe for Hokkien Noodles can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people.
Recipe Ingredients

Oil 3 tbsp
Egg2
Garlic4 cloves
Egg noodles½ packet
Glass noodles½ packet
Bean sprout1 cup
Prawns 200 gm
Chicken breast (juliennes)1
Spring onion2
Fresh red chilies3 – 4
Cabbage¼ piece
Capsicum1
Lemon juice1 – 1 ½ tbsp
Lemon skin½ tsp
Saltto taste
Black pepper powder½ tsp

Recipe Method

Heat 3 tbsp oil in a wok, add 4 cloves of chopped garlic and chicken breast cut into juliennes, sauté till golden brown.
Now add 200 gm prawns and fry for 2 – 3 minutes. Then add 1 sliced capsicum, 2 sliced spring onions and ¼ piece of chopped cabbage. Fry well for 2 – 3 minutes.
Beat 2 eggs and add to the vegetable mixture, do not mix and let it cook for a few minutes.
Now flip the egg and cook the other side.
Now add ½ packet boiled egg noodles, ½ packet soaked rice noodles, 1 cup bean sprout, salt to taste, ½ tsp black pepper, lemon juice, lemon skin and chopped fresh red chilies.
Mix well, dish it out and serve hot.
