Hunzai Handi Recipe by Tahir Chaudhary

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (boneless) 500 grms
  • Garlic (crushed) 2 tsps
  • Ginger (crushed) 1 tbsp
  • Oil/ Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Onion (chopped) 1 medium
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Whole Red Chili dry 6-8
  • Black Pepper 5-6
  • Clove 2-3
  • Tara Garam Masala 2 tsps
  • Green Chili 4-5
  • Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
  • Ginger 2 tbsps
  • Fenugreek Leaves 1 tsp
  • Fresh Cream 2 tbsps

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, fry chicken with onion, whole dry red chilli, cumin seed, clove, black pepper corn till light golden brown.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, yughert, all spices and cook untill chicken is done.
    Now add Taara garm masala, ginger sliced, lemon juice, fenugreek leaves and green chillies and leave it for 2-3 mints for dum.
  3. Dish it out and garnish with fresh creme, serve with naan or paratha.
