Imli walay Prawns

Ingredients:

  • Ginger sliced 2 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste 1 tbsp
  • prawns              ½ kg
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Carom seeds ¼ tsp
  • Cumin seeds ½ tsp
  • Spring onion sliced 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Sambal oleak 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate prawns with tamarind paste, lemon juice.
  2. Add chili powder, salt, 2 tbsp oil, heat ¼ cup oil in a pan.
  3. Add ginger julienne, carom seeds, cumin seeds, fry for 1 min, add marinated prawns.
  4. Cook for 1 min until done.
  5. Add fresh coriander, spring onion and serve.
