Indian Dal Recipe by Shireen Anwar at Masala Mornings

Ingredients:
Moong Dal                1 cup
Ginger                     ½ tsp
Garlic                     ½ tsp
Salt                        1 tsp
Green Chilies             10
Tomatoes                5-6
Lemon Juice            2 tbsp
Turmeric                ½ tsp

For bhagar:
Curry Leaves            few
Whole Red chilies        few
Rai                        ½ tsp

Method:
Cook daal with turmeric, ginger, garlic, whole green chilies, whole tomatoes. When daal is tender, blend tomatoes and green chilies, after blending add salt.
Make bhagar with curry leaves, whole red chilies and mustard seeds. Pour bhagar on daal and garnish it with green chilies and sliced ginger.
