Italian Bread Pudding
Ingredients:
French Bread (cubed) 3 cups
Butter (melted) 3 oz
Milk 1 cup
Cream 1 packet
Orange Juice ½ cup
Eggs 4
Sugar ¾ cup
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Salt a pinch
Ingredients for caramel sauce:
Sugar ½ cup
Brown Sugar ½ cup
Butter 4 oz
Cream 4 oz
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Corn Syrup 1 tbsp heaved
Method for caramel sauce:
In a sauce pan mix all the ingredients and cook till saucy.
Method for pudding:
Cut French bread into cubes.mix with melted butter and put in the greased ramekins. In a bowl mix together milk, cream, orange juice, eggs, sugar, vanilla and pinch of salt. Pour this mixture on top of the bread. Bake on 180 degrees for 20 to 25 mins and drizzle with caramel sauce serve with ice cream.
