Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg 12 pcs
- Chili powder 3 tsp
- Salt 1½ tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
- Yogurt 1½ cup
- Lemon juice ¼ cup
- All spice 1 tsp heaped
- Cumin roasted and crushed 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1tsp
- Chopped coriander 3 tbsp
- Chopped mint 3tbsp
- Ingredients for Rice
- Boiled rice 750 gm with 3 tbsp salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp whole mixed spices
- 1 tsp black cumin
Method:
- Marinate chicken with all the above ingredients for atleast 4 hours, add in 1 cup brown onion, and keep aside.
- FOR RICE
- Boil rice with all ingredients till half done, drain the rice, and keep aside.
- Other Ingredients
- Potatoes ½ kg boiled, shallow fry it.
- Mint and coriander ½ cup
- Brown onion ½ cup
- Oil ½ cup
- ¼ tsp saffron
- ¼ cup milk
- TO ASSEMBLE
- Put the marinated chicken in a pot, add mint and coriander leaves, fried potatoes
- Add boiled rice, fried onion, oil, milk with saffron, cover pan
- Put on a tawa on high heat for 5 mins
- Medium heat for 15 mins, and on a very low flame for another 20 mins, mix well and serve.
