Kaleji Tikka Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Mutton liver                              ½ kg
  • Ginger garlic paste                   1 tbsp
  • Salt                                               to taste
  • Chili powder                              1 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper                1 tsp
  • Turmeric                                     ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice                               1 tbsp
  • Thick yogurt                              125 gm
  • Cumin powder                          ½ tsp
  • Oil                                                 2 tbsp
  • Coal                                              as required

 

Method:

  1. Cut ½ kg liver into cubes, marinate with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  2. Add 125 gm thick yogurt, 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt to taste, 1 tsp chili powder
  3. Add 1 tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp cumin powder.
  4. Now add 2 tbsp oil and mix well.
  5. Thread 4 – 5 cubes in each skewer, grill on burning charcoals till done.
  6. Remove in a serving dish and serve.
