Ingredients:
- 300 gm Mutton
- 5-6 medium sized bitter melon
- 2 or 3 medium sized Onions
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tsp Amchur Powder
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Peel bitter melon Wash them in running water.
- Then Chop. Remove the seeds and Slice the onions as well.
- In a karahi, heat oil. Add the chopped bitter melon.
- Sauté the bitter melon on medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Lower the flame and sauté for 2-3 minutes more and put on a side.
- Sauté the mutton on medium heat and add water to make soft.
- Mix the sliced onions, bitter melon with mutton.
- Sauté again for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add the turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt.
- Stir. Cook vegetable without any lid for 7-8 minutes till the both the karela and onions are cooked and sautéed well.
- The onions will become brown.
- When the bitter melon and meat is ready then sprinkle the amchur powder and garam masala powder.
- Mix it and Serve.
