Katori Chaat

Ingredients:

  • For Katori
  • Plain Flour2 cup
  • Salt                       1tsp
  • Oil                         2 tbsp
  • Water                 as required
  • Ingredients For Chaat
  • Chickpeas (boiled)     2 cup
  •  Potato (boiled)             2
  • Onion                            1
  • Tomato                         2
  • Green Chilies  (chopped)   2
  • Coriander Leaves          ½  bunch
  • Mint leaves                  ½  bunch
  • Lemon Juice                2 tbsp
  • Chaat Masala               2 tsp
  • Salt                              1tsp
  • Red Chili Powder      1tsp
  • Yogurt                        1 cup
  • Ingredients For Tamarind
  • Tamarind Pulp      1 cup
  • Red Chili Powder    1 tsp
  • Salt            ½ tsp
  • Red Chilli  (crushed)   ½ tsp
  • Dried Ginger Powder        ½ tsp
  • Brown Sugar           2 tsp
  • Ingredients For Tamarind Green Chutney
  • Coriander Leaves       1 bunch
  • Mint Leaves                 1 bunch
  • Green Chillies                  2
  • Salt                             ½ tsp
  • Lemon Juice              2 tsp

Method:

  1. Katori Method:  Add salt and oil in flour and mix it well with lukewarm water.
  2. Keep it aside for 15-20 mins.
  3. And roll a round roti of it.
  4. And punch the fork on it.
  5. And then shape it by placing it on round bowl.
  6. Then deep fry the roti along with the bowl.
  7. Chat Method:  Mix all the ingredients of chat in a large bowl.
  8. And fill the katori with the chat.
  9. And assemble it with yogurt, green chatni and tamarind chatni.
