Keiri ki Chutney
Ingredients:
Raw Mangoes ½ kg
Red Pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Sugar 1 cup
Yellow Food Color a pinch
Melon Seeds 1 tsp
Water 1 ½ cup
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Method:
Peel and thinly slice raw mangoes, soak it in water for 2 hours, Drain out water and cook raw mangoes in apan with ½ cup water with crushed red pepper, salt, sugar, yellow food color and melon seeds. Cook for 20-25 minutes till the chutney thickens, before removing in the jar add 2 tbsp vinegar as a preservative.
