Khara Masala Moong Daal

Ingredients:

  • Green Gram Lentil 250 gms
  • Onion 1
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Dried  Fenugreek 6
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic (chopped) 1tsp
  • Cumin Seeds (roasted) 2 tsp
  • Finely Chooped Gingers 2tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder 1/2tsp
  • Tamarind Pulp 2 tbsp
  • Oil as required

 

Method:

  1. In a pan,  add green gram lentil, water and cook.
  2. When lentil cook well and removes from the stove.
  3. Now heat oil add onion and fry.
  4. Then add chopped garlic, tomato, finely chopped ginger, turmeric,roasted cumin seeds, garam masala powder, red chili powder, salt, dried chilies and fry well.
  5. Now add this masala in lentil and mix.
  6. Add tamarind Pulp.
  7. In the end, removes from the stove and now take it out in a dish.
  8. Sprinkles roasted cumin seeds and serve.
  9. Khara Masala Moong Daal is ready.
