Khasta Paratha by Shireen Anwar at Masala Mornings

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour         2 cups
  • Flour                 ½ cup
  • Egg                 1 beaten
  • Cumin Seeds         1 tsp
  • Salt                 ½ tsp
  • Ghee             6 tbsp
  • Baking Powder         1 tsp
  • Milk                 150 ml

Method:

  1. Sieve flour and baking powder.
  2. Add salt, ghee and cumin seeds.
  3. Mix very well.
  4. Make into a dough using milk and egg.
  5. Keep aside covered for 30 mins.
  6. Flatten and roll out each round into flat 5 inch disc.
  7. Cook as parathas.
  8. Khasta paratha should be crisp.
