Khopray Aur Suji Ka Halwa

Ingredients:

  • Semolina                             250 gm
  • Raisins                                  ½ cup
  • Sugar                                     1 cup
  • Coconut                               1 cup
  • Fresh milk                           small cardamom
  • Sugar                                     1 tsp
  • Cloves                                   4
  • Almonds (chopped)        15
  • Clarified butter                                 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Grind 4 small cardamoms with 1 tsp sugar.
  2. Now take 2 tbsp clarified butter in the pan and add in cardamom and 4 cloves.
  3. Then add in 1 cup sugar and cook it.
  4. When the sugar dissolves add in 1 cup fresh milk and ½ cup raisins.
  5. Grease the dish and spread halwa on it.
  6. Fry some almonds separately
  7. Then garnish with fried, sliced almond and 1 cup desiccated coconut.
