Khoya Boti Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast                    2
  • Yogurt                                 125 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste             2 tbsp
  • Carom seeds                       ¼ tsp
  • Nutmeg mace powder       ¼ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper           1 tbsp
  • Turmeric                             ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves                ¼ bunch
  • Mint leaves                         ¼ bunch
  • Big green chilies                 3 – 4
  • Salt                                      to taste
  • Oil                                       2 – 3 tbsp
  • Khoya                                  125 gm

Method:

  1. Cut 2 chicken breasts into small cubes, heat 2 – 3 tbsp oil in a wok
  2. Add in 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and boneless chicken pieces, fry well till golden brown.
  3. In a bowl mix together 125 gm yogurt, ¼ tsp ground carom seeds
  4. Add ¼ tsp nutmeg mace powder, salt to taste, 1 tbsp crushed red pepper and ½ tsp turmeric.
  5. Now add whipped yogurt to chicken with ¼ cup of water.
  6. Cook till water dries out.
  7. Lastly add ¼ bunch of coriander leaves, ¼ bunch of mint leaves, 3 – 4 chopped green chilies and 125 gm khoya. Mix well.
  8. Now dish it out and serve hot.
