Kofta Chawal by Rida Aftab

Ingredients Of Koftay:

  • Mince 1 kg
  • Cumin Seeds 2 tsp
  • Peanuts 2 tsp
  • Sesame 2 tsp
  • Button Red Chilies 6
  • Onions 2
  • Salt 1tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • Ingredients Of Pulao:
  • Rice ½ kg
  • Boneless Chicken 250 gms
  • Mint Leaves 1 bunch
  • Onions 2
  • Green Chilies 6
  • Stock 2 cup
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Whole Mixed Garam Masala 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste1 tbsp

 

Method:

 

For making kofta:

  1. In a tawa, add sesame, cumin seeds, peanuts, button red chilies fry and grind it.
  2. In a chopper, chopped mince, roasted masala, ginger garlic paste and salt.
  3. Then add in egg and makes koftay.
  4. Fry and take it out.

 

For making pulao:

  1. In a pan, heat oil add onion and fry.
  2. Now add chicken, whole mixed garam masala, ginger garlic and fry well.
  3. Then add salt, stock and cook for 10 minutes in slow flame.
  4. After this, add soaked rice, mint leaves, green chilies and cook.
  5. When dries water and let It simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Pour koftay and removes from the stove.
  7. Kofta Chawal is ready.
