Ladoo Paythiyan

Ladoo Paythiyan
Ingredients:
Soaked Gram Lentil 2 cups
Baking Soda ½ tsp
Carom Seeds ½ tsp
Oil as required
For Making Plum Sauce:
Soaked Plums 250 grams
Fried Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Jaggery 2 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
For Making Green Sauce
Green Chilies 6
Green Coriander ½ bunch
Mint Leaves ½ bunch
Garlic Cloves 2
Salt ½ tsp
Cumin Seeds ½ tsp
Tamarind Juice 1 cup
For Garnish
Finely Chopped Onion 1
Boiled Potato 2
Green Coriander ½ bunch

Method:

• In a blender add 2 cups socked gram lentils, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp carom seeds. Make thick paste out of it.
• After this turn into a shape of pokarein. Fry in hot oil and dish out.
• For making Plum sauce: In sauce pan, add 250 grams socked plums, separate the seeds of plums and cook until it form a shape of batter.
• Now add 2 tbsp Jaggery, 1 tsp fried cumin seeds along with ½ tsp salt.
• Cook for a while.
• For making Green Sauce: In blender add 6 green chilies, ½ bunch green coriander, ½ bunch mint leaves, 2 garlic cloves, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp cumin seeds along with 1 cup tamarind juice. Blend.
• Green Sauce is ready to serve.
• Now in one platter spread Ladoo Paythiyan and pour green sauce on top.
• Also pour Plum sauce.
• In the end 1 finely chopped onion, ½ bunch green coriander along with 2 boiled potato. Serve well.
