Lahori Special Bong Paye

Ingredients:

  • Beef trotter’s                                    2 pieces
  • Bong                                                      2-1/2 – 3 kg
  • Salt                                                         to taste
  • Red chilli powder                             3 tsp
  • Cumin                                                   2 tbsp
  • Garlic                                                     3 tbsp
  • Cinnamon sticks                               2 pieces
  • Star anise                                            1
  • Black pepper crushed                    1 tsp
  • Red chilli flakes                                                 1tbsp
  • Cloves                                                   2-3
  • Black cardamom                               1
  • Oil                                                           1 cup
  • Black pepper powder                     2 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder                  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. In large pan add beef  trotters and bong.
  2.  Add all spices with garlic then add 8-10 glass of water and
  3.  cook for ½ hr . After ½ hr add 1 cup oil and let it cook for 20 minutes.
  4. Now fill half the cooker with water and let it pressure cook for 1-1/2 hour.
  5. Now take all the bones out and add garam masala and black pepper to the
  6. bongh and trotter gravy. Now cook for another 20 minutes on low flame.
  7. When oil comes on the top, put off the stove and serve with hot.
