Lauki Bahar Recipe by Shireen Anwar

Ingredients:

  • Lauki (peeled & cubed) ½ kg
  • Ginger Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Onions (chopped) 1 cup
  • Tomatoes (chopped) 2 cups
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Green Chilies Chopped 2
  • Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander Leaver hand full
  • Salt 1 tsp

 

Method:

  1. Heat oil, add cumin seeds, chopped onions and green chilies, fry till onions are light golden.
  2. Add ginger garlic with chopped tomatoes ,salt and spices.
  3. Add lauki cook for 2 mints than cover and cook on dam.
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and served.
