LEMON MURGH

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Karhayi piece      ½ kg
  • Lemon Juice      ½ cup
  • Green Coriander       ½ bunch
  • Crushed Whole Coriander       1 tbsp
  • Crushed Cumin      1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder        1 tsp
  • Salt          1 tsp
  • Green Chilies       6
  • Ginger Garlic Paste      2 tsp
  • Onions            2
  • Tomatoes        2
  • Finely Chopped Ginger       1 tbsp
  • Yogurt         1 cup
  • Oil              ½ cup

Method:

  1. In a chopper add ½ cup lemon juice, 1 tsp crushed whole coriander.
  2. Add 1 tsp crushed cumin, ½ bunch green coriander, 6 green chilies and 1 tsp salt
  3. Chop it finely and put it on chicken pieces for 2 hours and leave it.
  4. Now in a blender add 1 cup yogurt, 2 tomatoes and 2 onions and chop it.
  5. Now heat ½ cup oil and add tomatoes, yogurt and crushed onions in it.
  6. Add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp turmeric and cook it properly.
  7. Now cover it for 20 minutes after adding the chicken to it.
  8. When chicken is done then add 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger and turn off the stove.
