Machli ka Pulao By Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Surmai Fish 1 kg
  • Rice 250 gms
  • Onions 2
  • Green Chili Paste 4tbsp
  • Star Anise Powder 1 tsp
  • Fennel Seed Powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Tomatoes ½ kg
  • Green Chilies 6
  • Curry Leaves 6
  • Ginger Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds 2 tsp
  • Finely Chooped Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Water as required

 

Method:

  1. Marinate fish with salt.
  2. Now in a pan, add onion and fry.
  3. Add cumin seeds, fish and fry.
  4. When they change the color , removes from the stove.
  5. In separate pan, add onion and fry.
  6. Add ginger garlic, tomatoes, green chili paste, salt and curry leaves.
  7. Add rice and water.
  8. When rice are simmer , add fennel powder, star anise powder , fried fish and oil.
  9. Add ginger and green chilies, removes from the stove.
