Machli Saag by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Fish 1 kg
  • Spinach (boiled) 1kg
  • Fenugreek Seeds ½ kg
  • Green Chilies 50 gms
  • Ginger Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Yogurts 375gms

 

For Fish:

  • Red Chili 1tsp
  • Garlic Paste 2 tsp
  • Carom Seeds 1tsp
  • Gram Flour 2 tbsp
  • Rice Flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1 cup

 

Method:

  1. Marinate fish, with red chili , garlic pste, carom seeds, rice flour, garam flour and leave it 1hour.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and fry.
  3. After this, In the remaining oil add ginger garlic and fry.
  4. When aroma comes,add water.
  5. Now add green chilies,yogurt,fenugreek seeds,salt, turmeric powder and fry.
  6. After this, add boiled spinach and dry on high flame.
  7. Then add fish and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Removes from the stove , delicious Machli Saag is ready.
