Malai Kofta by Shireen Anwar
Ingredients:
Boil and mashed potatoes half kg
Allspice half tsp
Ginger garlic half tsp
Black pepper half tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Coriander leaf 2 tbsp
Green chilies chopped 2
Roasted and cumin half tsp
Flour 3 – 4 tbsp
Egg 1
Ingredients for gravy:
Onions (chopped) 2
Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
Cumin powder ½ tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Allspice 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Boiled peas half cup
Tomato paste 4 tbsp
Butter 2 oz
Fresh cream 4 oz
Method for kofta:
Mash potatoes; add in the all above ingredients mix well. Make into small balls, fry in oil and keep aside.
Method for gravy:
Heat oil fry onion light golden, add all the above masala fry till oil comes on top. Add peas, add fried koftas, and cook for 5 min lastly add butter and cream garnish with coriander leaf and green chilies.
