Malpura

Ingredients:

  • Flour 2 cups
  • Semolina ½ cup
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Eggs 4
  • Yellow color ¼ tsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Soda by carb ½ tsp
  • Water to make batter
  • Ghee for frying

Method:

  1. Put all in a bowl except ghee, make into a thin batter
  2. Cover and leave it for 4 hours, just before frying
  3. Add ½ tsp soda by carb, mix well, deep fry in a tai or large fry pan in ghee
  4. Serve with balai or rabri.
