MANN PASAND CHICKEN BY SHIREEN ANWAR

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1kg 16 pcs
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1 ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 ½ tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Khatai powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Oil ¼ cup + ¼ cup
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • All spice ¾ tsp
  • Green chilies 6

 

Method:

  1. Heat oil add chicken fry, add salt, chili powder, ginger garlic paste with ¼ cup water fry for 10 mins.
  2. Grind together half quantity of fenugreek seeds mustard seeds to a powder, add to the chicken with khatai powder and all spice.
  3. When chicken tender remove.
  4. Heat remaining ¼ cup oil in a pan, fry remaining fenugreek seeds onion seeds, mustard seeds and ½ tsp chili powder; add this to the chicken with lemon juice green chilies.
  5. Leave it on dum.
