Masala Mutton

Ingredients:

  • Mutton                                                1 kg
  • Papaya                                 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt                                   250 gram
  • Onion                                    250 gram
  • Whole black pepper       2 tsp
  • Cumin                                   2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste           1 tbsp
  • Salt                                         1 tsp
  • Curry leaves                       10
  • Coconut powder              2 tsp
  • Tomatoes                            4
  • Green chilies                      10
  • Red chili powder              1 tsp
  • Oil                                           ½ cup
  • Green coriander               ½ bunch
  • Screw pine essence        few drops

Method:

  1. Put yogurt, papaya, black pepper and ginger garlic paste on mutton and leave in fridge for overnight.
  2. Now heat oil add onion and fry until golden brown.
  3. Then add tomatoes, cumin, salt, coconut powder and red chili powder and sauté well.
  4. Now add marinated mutton, green chilies and curry leaves and cook for ½ an hour.
  5. When mutton get tender then sauté well and sprinkle screw pine essence and green coriander.
