Masala Oats By Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Olive oil 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Chopped onion 2 tbsp
  • Chopped carrot 2 tbsp
  • Chopped capsicum 2 tbsp
  • Peas 2 tbsp
  • Chopped spinach 3 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Curry powder 1 tsp
  • Oats 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Water 1/4 cup

 

Method:

  1. In a pan, add olive oil first, sauté onion.
  2. Now add chopped onion, chopped capsicum, peas, and ginger garlic paste.
  3. Mix well then add spinach, curry powder, chilli powder and fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Mix oats well and cook further for 2 minutes.
  5. Later add water, lemon juice and mix.
  6. Cover with lid and leave for few minutes.
  7. Serve with bread or chapati.
