Masoor ki Daal:
Ingredients:
1 Cup – red lentil soaked
1 Large – Onion chopped
1 Large – Tomato chopped
3 – Green Chilies fine chopped
1/4 cup Oil or Ghee
1 – Dried Bay Leaf
1 tsp – Cumin Seeds
4-5 clove garlic crushed
1 tsp – Red Chili Powder
1 tsp – Taara garm masala
1/2 tsp – Turmeric Powder
1 tsp – Salt
2 tbsp – Chopped Coriander Leaves
2 to 3 Cups – Water
Method:
Wash and soak masoor Daal for 10 mints, cook with 2 cup of water, salt,
red chilli powder, turmeric,Daal should be boiled but not mashed.
In a wok heat oil add bay leaf and cumin seed, allow them to splutter,
then add onion, tomato, garlic and green chillies and cook till become a masala.
Add boiled Daal and cooked for few mints untill Daal thickens.
add Taara garm masala and coriander leaves, serve hot.
