Matar Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Boiled Peas                             1 cup
  • Sela Rice                                 ½ kg
  • Ginger Garlic Paste                         2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon Sticks                         1-2
  • Cloves                                 2-3
  • Onion                                 1
  • Crushed Black Pepper                     ½ tsp
  • Chicken Cube                             2
  • Mint Leaves                             1 bunch
  • Green Chilies                             4-5
  • Clarified Butter                         4-5 tbsp
  • Salt                                     to taste

Method:

  1. Take ½ kg of sela rice clean it and wash it off  and soaked it for 2 hours.
  2. Take a cooking pan add 4-5 tbsp of clarified butter , 1-2 sticks of cinnamon sticks , 2-3 cloves when its popping
  3. Add 1 onion and fry add 2 tbsp of ginger garlic and roasted
  4. Then add 1 cup of boiled peas, ½ tsp of crushed black pepper  and to taste salt
  5. Add ½ kg of soaked rice add 2 chicken cube and add as required water to cook
  6. Steam the rice when the steam is done take it out in a serving platter
  7. Garnish with mint leaves and green chilies and serve it.
