MEETHAY DAHI BARAY
Ingredients:
Flour ½ cup heaped
Yogurt 1 cup
Yellow color a pinch
Egg 1
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Baking powder ½ tsp heaped
Ingredients for sugar syrup:
Sugar 1 cup
Water 1 ½ cup
Rose water 1 tsp
Silver Leaf as required
Method:
Put flour in a bowl. Mix with yogurt, egg, cardamom powder, baking powder, yellow color and make into a thick batter with water. Heat ghee in a frying pan and fry baras till light golden. Make sugar syrup with sugar water till thick. Add rose water. Keep aside. Dip the fried baras into the prepared sugar syrup. Remove in a platter serve garnished with silver warq.
