Meethi Tikya Recipe By Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Semolina 1 cup
  • Plain flour 1 cup
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Sugar (finely grand) ½ cup
  • Oil/Clarified Butter As required

Method:

  1. Soak the semolina in milk for a while.
  2. When the Semolina gets soft then mix it in plain flour and finely grand sugar.
  3. Then knead it with Oil/ Ghee & leave it for a while.
  4. Now make one ball & roll it like a loaf.
  5. After that cut the small piece of TIKIYA with the help of a round bangle or cap.
  6. Heat Oil/Ghee in a Karahi then deep fry the small tikiya.
  7. When it turns in golden brown color then takes it out.
