Melt-in-the-Mouth Garlic Rolls Recipe by Shireen Anwar at Masala Mornings

Ingredients:

  • Flour            4 cups
  • Yeast            2 ½ tsp
  • Sugar            1 tbsp
  • Milk                4 tbsp
  • Butter/ Oil        ¼ cup
  • Salt                1 tsp
  • Egg                1+1
  • Garlic            2 tbsp
  • Sesame Seeds        2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Knead the dough with all the ingredients until smooth and soft.
  2. Leave the dough to rise for an hour until its double.
  3. Punch down, then make 20 balls, roll it into a long  a long rope, and form into rolls
  4. Place it in a well greased square pan , placing them joined.
    Cover the pan and leave it to rise for another hour
  5. lastly brush it with beaten egg, sesame seeds and bake.
