Mirch Qeema Recipe By Mehboob Khan

Ingredients:

  • Oil                                   ½ cup
  • Onion chopped            1 ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste      1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds                 1 tsp
  • Black pepper                 6
  • Green cardamoms       2
  • Mince                             Half kg
  • Salt                                 1 tsp
  • Crush red pepper         1 ½ tsp
  • Turmeric                        Half tsp
  • Coriander powder        1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes                      2 – 3 choperized
  • Tamarind pulp              1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves          ½ bunch
  • Green chilies (chopped)      8

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, fry chopped onion till slightly golden add ginger garlic paste
  2. Add black pepper corns, green cardamoms, salt, crush red pepper, turmeric, coriander powder
  3. Add  mince and choparized tomatoes
  4. Fry well for 10 min when oils come on tops
  5. Add 1 cup water cook till mince tender,
  6. Then add in Tamarind pulp allspice powder
  7. Lastly add green chilies and coriander leaves
  8. Leave it on dum for 5 – 10 min server hot.
