MIRCHON KA SALAN
Ingredients:
Green Chilies (large) 375 gms
Tomatoes ½ kg
Nigella Seeds ½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Tamarind Pulp ½ cup
Onions 2
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Red Chilies (crushed) 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves ½ bunch
Curry Leaves 6
Oil ½ cup
Method:
• Wash, wipe and slit green chilies lenghthwise and fry in heat oil, take it out.
• In the remaining oil, add onions until brown, tomatoes paste.
• Add nigella seeds, salt, cumin seeds, crushed red chilies, turmeric powder and curry leaves.
• When oil surfaces, add tamarind pulp, fried onions, coriander leaves and let it simmer for for 5 minutes.
• Mirchon ka salan is ready.
