Ingredients:
- Rice 2-1/2 cup
- Oil ¼ cup
- Onion (sliced) 1
- Tomato (sliced) 1
- Garlic (chopped) ½ tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Stock 3-1/2 cup
- Whole Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Star Anise 1
- Bay Leaf 1
- Cloves 2-3
- Mont Pestoo Sauce:
- Mint Leaves 1 cup
- Garlic Cloves 2
- Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Green Chili 3-4
- Lemon Zest ½ tsp
Method:
- For sauce:
- In a blender, add all the ingredients mix and make paste.
- Now in a pan, heat oil add all the whole spices , onion and fry.
- When change the color, add tomatoes, salt, sauce and fry well.
- Then add stock and boil comes add rice and cook.
- When dries the water and let it simmer.
