Murgh Channa Daal

Ingredients:

 

  • Chicken (karahi pieces)         1 kg
  • Bengal Gram Lentil (boiled) 250 gm
  • Dry Fenugreek                       2 tbsp
  • Green Chilies                          10
  • Turmeric                                 1tsp
  • Salt                                          1 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds (chopped)        1tbsp
  • Black Peppercorns                 1 tsp
  • Tomato Paste                         ½ kg
  • Garam Masala Powder         1 tsp
  • Ghee                                       1 cup
  • Ginger Garlic                          1 tbsp
  • Red Chili                                 1tsp

 

Method:

  1. In a pan, heat ghee add ginger garlic and fry .
  2. Now add karahi pieces and fry well.
  3. Then add tomato paste, fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder
  4. Add salt, cumin seeds, black pepper, red chili and fry well .
  5. After this, add boiled Bengal gram lentil and cook for 20 minutes.
  6. When water dries , add green chilies, garam masala and serve.
