Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg
- Rice (boiled) ½ kg
- Whole Garlic 1 bulb
- Butter 50 gms
- Papaya 1 tbsp
- Black Pepper (crushed) 2 tsp
- Red Chilies (crushed) 2 tsp
- Green Chilies Paste 2 tsp
- Star Anise Seeds 2
- Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Cloves 2
- Yogurt 250 gms
- Salt 1 tsp
- Coal 1 piece
- Onions (chopped) 2
- Oil ½ cup
Method:
- In a pan, heat butter, add whole garlic fry and take it out in pot.
- Marinate chicken with garlic, yogurt, papaya, crushed black pepper
- Add star anise seeds, turmeric powder, cinnamon, cloves, and crushed red chilies, salt.
- After this, in a pan, heat oil adds onions until brown
- Add marinated chicken pieces and rice let it simmer for half an hour.
- When chicken and rice are tenders mix it and give coal steam.
- Murgh Masala Chawal is ready.
