Mutton Kusuri

Ingredients:

 

  • Mutton                                  1 kg
  • Oil                                           ½ cup
  • Cloves                                    2
  • Black pepper                       6
  • Cinnamon                             1 stick
  • Fennel seeds grinded        1 tsp
  • Roasted and crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek                            1 tbsp
  • Salt                                         1 tsp
  • Onion            grinded                     1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste             1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice                         2 tbsp
  • Turmeric                               ½ tsp
  • Kashmiri red pepper         4 soaked and grinded

Method:

 

  1. Grind together red chilies, onion, ginger garlic, turmeric and lemon juice
  2. Add marinate mutton with this paste for few hours.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, put whole spices, fry for 1 min
  4. Add marinated mutton with grinded sonf and cumin grinded, fry for 5 mins
  5. Cover and cook till mutton tender.
  6. If required add 1 cup water.
  7. When mutton tender and oil comes on top
  8. Add kasuri methi, cook for 5 mins and remove.
