Nargisi Pulao

Ingredients:

 

  • Boiled chicken 1 kg
  • Salt 1½ tsp heaped
  • Black pepper 1 tsp heaped
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • Boiled eggs 4
  • Brown onion 1 cup
  • Saffron ½ tsp soaked in ½ cup milk
  • Kewra water 1 tbsp
  • Beaten yogurt 1½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp heaped
  • All spice 1½ tsp
  • Whole spices mixed 1 tbsp
  • Boiled rice 750 gm

Method:

  1. Heat oil, add whole spices, ginger garlic paste, and boiled chicken.
  2. Now fry till light golden, remove pan from heat.
  3. Add beaten yogurt, salt, pepper, all spice, brown onions and eggs, stir well
  4. Now spread boiled rice on top of it, pour 2 tbsp ghee over the rice
  5. Sprinkle with saffron milk, kewra water, cover and cook for 15 mins on low flame.
  6. Serve with cucumber raita.
