Nariyal Daal by Chef Gulzar in Dawat

Ingredients:

  • Boiled Bengal Gram                         500 grams
  •  Fresh Desiccated Coconut                     100 gram
  • Ginger Garlic Chopped                        1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped Tomatoes                    3-4
  • Turmeric Powder                             1 tsp
  • Crushed Red Chili                             1 tbsp
  • Crushed Black Pepper                         1 tsp
  • All Spice Powder                             1 tsp
  • Green Chilies                                 3-4
  • Oil                                         2 tbsp
  • Salt                                         to taste
  • For Bhaghar
  • Whole Cumin Seeds                            1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves                                 3-4

Method:

  1. Take a cooking pan add 1 tbsp of chopped ginger garlic
  2. Add 2 tbsp of oil and fry then add 3-4finely chopped tomatoes and roasted
  3. Then add boiled Bengal gram mix it well then add 1 tsp turmeric powder,
  4. Add 1 tbsp crushed red chili, 1 tsp of crushed black pepper,
  5. Add to taste salt mix it well add as required water and cook.
  6. Now 100 grams fresh desiccated coconut mix it well.
  7. At last 3-4 green chilies mix it well.
  8. Take it out in a serving bowl.
  9. Take 1 tsp of whole cumin seeds and 3-4 curry leaves in hot oil make the bhaghar add it into the dish and serve it.
