North Indian Style Chicken Daal Curry
Ingredients:
Chicken with Bone ½ kg
Black Lentils 250 grams
Lemon Juice ½ cup
Cream ½ cup
Chopped Garlic 2 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder 2 tbsp
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
Almonds 10
Green Chili 3
Green Coriander tbsp
Butter 2 tbsp
Oil ½ cup
Salt as required
Method:
• In a frying pan heat ½ cup oil and add fry ½ kg chicken with bones.
• After this add 2 tbsp red chili powder, salt as required, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp mustard seeds, ½ cup water. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
• Cook until chicken is tender then add 250 grams black lentils along with ½ cup lemon juice. Cook for 5 minutes.
• Now add 3 green chilies along with 2 tbsp green coriander.
• Dish out and sprinkle with 10 almonds along with ½ cup cream.
• In the end heat 2 tbsp butter, 2 tsp chopped garlic. Fry well.
• Cook until the aroma is given out then add in daal.
• North Indian Style Chicken Daal Curry is ready to serve.
